Tara Burk Ph.D. candidate in art history at CUNY Graduate Center, working on a dissertation that examines shifting notions of political art and public space in the 1980s and 1990s. My recent publications explore the spatial aspects of visual ephemera, in early modern woodcuts of executions and in AIDS activist graphics.
